Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge for a photo shoot session?
My photo shoots and the resulting pictures are free. I photograph for my art, not for my profession, so I do not charge for my photography. Read more about the photographer and trade shoots.
How does the model benefit from working with you?
Models receive CDs with full-resolution copies of their pictures, as well as their choice of 8x10 prints of their photographs that I use in my portfolio.
How many pictures will be on my photo CD?
You can expect your CD to have 100-200+ photographs, with the exact number depending on how many ideas/locations we use during our session.
What do you do with my pictures from the shoot?
I provide private galleries with the final edited copies of the best photographs, usually around 5-15 per idea/location, that you may share with friends, use for self-promotion, or keep to yourself. If you agree, I may use the best few pictures in my public portfolio. Many of my models prefer not to have their photographs used online, a choice which I fully respect. I never sell my images or the rights to them to any other website or third party.
How long should I expect the photo shoot to last?
Around 2-3 hours, depending on the location and how many ideas/outfits we use.
What if I have never modeled before?
I do not expect models to have any prior experience. In fact, the majority of my models have never modeled before.
Will I have to sign a model release form?
I ask models to sign a standard release form that includes protections for both the model and photographer. Read the model release form.
I would like to model for you. What should I do next?
